Harris Beach is a great place to camp. It has a beautiful beach view, hiking trails to the beach, and plenty of places to ride a bike and walk a dog. There is a laundry and showers, which many state parks do not have. The Oregon State Parks Reservation system is easy to use and staff is friendly. It is one of my favorite campgrounds.
Staff was unfriendly and not particularly helpful. They acted as if it were an imposition to register us and wait on us. Our site was at the end of a row close to the bathhouse. Adults and children on bicycles cut through our site when rounding the corner and on the way to the bathhouse. Even though there were empty sites, the management refused to move us and were quite rude about it. We will not camp there again.
